Jeremy Scott gives us bold messages and sporty vibes as we are sent into the future for his new collection, neon colours mixed with combat trousers with bold messages onto over-sized jumpers and t-shirts, everything the future needs from fashion. Jeremy Scott is known for his collections being futuristic and carrying important messages throughout his clothing, Scott is now welcomed into the new York fashion scene which serves as a reminder of how much the world has changed. His new collection includes screen prints of 1990’s Polaroids he used to take of himself, which have been filtered  into actual garment designs from motocross jackets, sequinned combat trousers and dungarees. He believes that using himself as a muse is crucial as the world is changing and gender fluidity is part of our culture now. Scott is a major influence as a front runner for tolerance and acceptance which transcends into his collections carrying strong messages about gender and politics, topics that aren’t always brought into collections especially from major designers. Spring/summer 19 seems to be all about neon and spreading powerful messages.
